Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '26 RHP/INF Slade Hudson

As we wrap up the summer showcase season, Prep Baseball Oregon features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers who have attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week, we spotlight '26 RHP/INF Slade Hudson. The senior out of Cascade High School was seen at multiple events this summer, including the Eugene Summer ID and PNW State Games.
A 6'0 prospect with some present strength, Hudson impressed on the mound, working the FB up to 84 MPH. The two-way player also drove balls into the mid-90's from the right side of the plate to highlight his summer. Delivery: Works from abbreviated wind from the center of the rubber. Hands set at the chin and lower through wind. Slight bend in rear knee through leg lift and drive. Late intent builds through wind into release with balanced finish.
Arm Action: RH. Hands break at the letters into whippy arm action. High 3/4 slot release. Athletic mover.
