Oklahoma Uncommitted Spotlight: 2026 Third Basemen

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. This time, we'll take a look at the five top ranked uncommitted third basemen, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Brett Carnott 3B / RHP / Okarche, OK / 2026

Carnott slots in as our top uncommitted third basemen after seeing a jump in the rankings thanks to a strong summer campaign. Carnott impressed at the Super Senior Games, showing a comfortability driving the ball to both alleys. Carnott will be one of a collection of high-level prospects on an Okarche team that could compete with teams from any class.

Jackson Steely 3B / C / Noble, OK / 2026

Steely was a consistent piece of the middle of the Noble lineup last spring as the Bears made a run to the semi-finals of the state tournament. Steely will step into a leadership role for Noble this year, hoping to help lead the squad back to to the state tournament for the sixth consecutive season.

Clayton Harrington 3B / RHP / Piedmont, OK / 2026

Harrington is a talented two-way prospect who saw consistent time manning the hot corner for Piedmont last spring. Harrington has the potential to see a bump in responsibility on the mound this year as well as jumping up in the batting order as he gears up for a big senior season.

Zacary Oliver 3B / 2B / Tulsa Union , OK / 2026

Oliver was a nice bat in the middle of the order for Union last spring, and will look to see an increased role as he enters his final season. Oliver had a solid showing at the PBT OKC World Series in front of some our scouts earlier this summer, and will look to parlay a good summer into a big senior spring.

Cal Schlomann 3B / RHP / Collinsville, OK / 2026

Rounding out our top five is a Collinsville product, Cal Schlomann. The phsyical right-hander had a big year at the plate last spring for the Cardinals, and will look to prove he's ready to make the jump to the next level as he helps lead a Collinsville squad that tends to always find itself in the upper tier of 5A.
