Rising Stars On The Radar: 2028 OF Isaac Kreider (Cedar Crest HS)
September 12, 2025
On a Pennsylvania team full of extremely talented young prospects, Kreider found himself shining the brightest throughout the course of the East Coast Super Sophomore Games. Every time he stepped up to the plate, he either recorded a loud base hit or worked a quality at bat and made the pitcher earn an out.
The athletic outfielder’s bat has continued to trend up with metrics taking a jump forward every time we have seen him the past 12 months. Kreider has a flat bat path through the zone that allows him to drive the ball on a line to all parts of the field. With an exit velocity peaking at 97.2 mph and an average exit velocity of 90.9 mph he can produce extra base hits as well. At 5 ‘8 and 163-pounds, he packs an impressive punch with the bat that has continuously been improving.
Defensively, he can patrol the outfield easily with the help of his 7.06 sixty-yard dash. During gameplay at the ECSSG Kreider made multiple impressive plays while in centerfield, including an over-the-shoulder catch in front of the fence. His 84-mph outfield velocity is also another aspect of his game that keeps improving and will continue to trend up.
Overall, Kreider is one of the state’s highest risers thanks to his constant development and performances. He is an athletic outfielder that can provide a hit tool, power tool, speed, and above average defensive capabilities.
