Enyer Infante, 1B, Georgia Premier, 2027
Uncommitted. The hit/power combo really stood out in a loud way for Infante across the entirety of the Prep Baseball Cup. There is immense strength throughout the physical 6-foot-2, 230-pound frame and Infante exudes excellent body control. Shows great balance in the stride with explosive, fluid hands in-zone and impact in the barrel to match. Generates a ton of strength from the ground up with the ability to match plane and present accuracy in the barrel. Infante would unload on one to the pull-side for a no-doubt 2-run homerun as he shows great leverage through the zone that creates significant carry to the pull-side. Armed with tons of strength and power that shows up frequently in-game the feel to hit is very real for Infante as well.

Bryce Fontenot, 1B/RHP, Cherokee Bluff, 2027
Uncommitted. It was an impressive first look at the Cherokee Bluff two-way since Future Games back in July. Ultra-physical in the box at 6-foot-2, 227-pounds with loads of strength throughout. Fontenot was absolutely dialed in at the plate Sunday afternoon with a 4-hit performance and barrels all 90 + off the bat. Great barrel length in-zone stands out backed by huge bat speed and leverage through the zone. Ability to generate carry to all-fields with authority. Fontenot would also hop on the mound and flash a live arm in a brief look. Fastball lived 90-91 (T92 MPH) with life and arm-side run. Slider created depth at 76-77. Present strength throughout and creates easy drive down the mound. Fontenot always performs and is poised for an even bigger junior year after an outlandish sophomore campaign with the Bears.

Trip Fowler, RHP, Greenbrier, 2027
Uncommitted. First look at Fowler since Future Games and only continues to produce. Lean, high-waisted frame at 6-foot-2,170-pounds and moves really well down the mound with repeatability in the delivery. Pitchability stands out with above-average command of both pitches and ability to disrupt timing and mix extremely well. Fastball sat 85-87 (T88 MPH) with excellent feel to land on the outer half. Slider creates sharp movement and tunnels well off the fastball at 74-77. Fowler tossed 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, and 4 K against a potent lineup. Fowler flat out knows how to pitch and a huge spring campaign is certainly on the way for the Greenbrier RHP.

Luke Donaldson, RHP, River Ridge, 2027
Uncommitted. It was a really intriguing look at Donaldson out of the pen for 643 as he would go toe to toe with a potent opposing lineup. Arm speed stood out from the jump in a lean, high-waisted 6-foot-4, 170-pound frame. Donaldson moves extremely well down the mound with fluid, repeatable mechanics and creates excellent extension. Fastball sat 87-88 (T89 MPH) with easy life out of the hand and arm-side run. Wipeout slider created sharp depth at 75-76 and tunneled well off the fastball. Changeup was worked in at 77-79. Donaldson looks poised to be a big piece for a Knights squad that made a Final Four run last Spring.

William Resutek, 1B, North Oconee, 2027
Uncommitted. Back in the Spring Resutek impressed with each look. Fast forward to one of the first looks since the spring and Resutek would continue to look the part. As he lived on the barrel as a big middle of the order bat with AquaSox across the Prep Baseball Cup. The ability to handle velocity and spin stands out with an impressive hit/power combo for the North Oconee 1B. Resutek stays compact in a fluid LH stroke with fast hands through the zone and present feel for the barrel. Transfers weight well through impact with ability to spray the ball to all-fields. There is plenty more to project upon physically and throughout the profile for Resutek at a lean 6-foot-2, 175-pounds.

Jayden Whiteside, SS, Marietta, 2027
Uncommitted. Whiteside’s development and strength are becoming more noticeable with each time we see him. It’s a slightly open stance in the batter’s box, followed by a big leg kick and impressive lower-half strength to generate power. He swings with intent, showing quick hands and good bat speed that can lift the ball into the air. Over the weekend, he barreled several baseballs with exit velocities exceeding 90 mph, including an opposite-field triple at 93. Primarily a shortstop, he shows excellent actions all around. Jayden is a true athlete and the starting quarterback at Marietta, capable of doing it all, making him one of the most exciting prospects to watch this past weekend.

Brock Bumgardner, C/RHP, Cherryville (NC), 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 102 in the state of North Carolina. Bumgardner made his presence felt this weekend on both sides of the ball. At the plate, he showed a composed approach with the ability to consistently produce barrels, squaring up two balls on Saturday evening during pool play. He tracks pitches well in the box, even against higher velocity. On the mound, Bumgardner impressed in relief, sitting 86–88 mph with his fastball and touching 89 more than once, a pitch that generates good ride through the zone. He paired it with a mid-70s breaking ball that tunneled effectively off the heater and generated whiffs. It’s an intriguing two-way profile, and difficult to imagine Bumgardner remaining uncommitted for long, as he has the overall tools to bolster any recruiting class.
