1

Cade Anderson

Lincoln East

RHP/3B

Anderson brings a large, imposing frame and a clean, easy arm action that immediately stands out. At the Super Sophomore Games, he looked advanced physically and commanded the zone with a three-pitch mix. The fastball sat 83–86, the slider (71–74, 2400 rpm) flashed as a future out pitch, and he mixed in a fading changeup at 75–76. Over three innings, he struck out four and never looked rushed.

At the plate, Anderson showed his two-way ability — collecting multiple barrels, including a double, before swiping third to flash athleticism you don’t always see in a frame his size. The polish on the mound combined with the offensive impact makes him one of the more intriguing sophomores to follow.

2 Scott Miner  Omaha Westview C/OF

Scott Miner is a multi-sport athlete whose tools play on both the gridiron and the diamond. The left-handed bat brings real pull-side juice, highlighted by a 94.6 mph exit velocity at the Super Sophomore Games. He paired it with an 83 mph arm from the outfield, 77 mph behind the plate, and a 2.00–2.13 pop time — all of which translated in-game, where his actions behind the dish and ability to impact the ball stood out.

3 Hank Vosik Creighton Prep SS/RHP

Hank Vosik (SS/RHP) showed a blend of physicality and athleticism at the Super Sophomore Games, moving smoothly down the mound with a fastball that jumped at 85–87, topping 88, and a 70–73 breaking ball that missed bats. He punched out three in two innings and showed poise throughout.

At the plate, Vosik displayed an advanced approach, spraying hits to all fields. Defensively, his 89 mph arm and quick, smooth hands stood out, with the ability to throw accurately from multiple angles. A 6.86 runner, he covers ground with ease and projects to stick at a premium spot.

4  Elkhorn South IF

Markus Gorup (Elkhorn South, 2028) profiles as a polished middle infielder with strength and rhythm in his game. The 5-foot-8, 177-pound right-handed hitter works from an open, tall stance with a controlled leg lift, landing balanced and powerful. The barrel shows whip and strength with natural lift, producing a 98.3 mph max exit velocity and 322-foot carry. Hitting cleanup for Elkhorn South in the spring, he showed well under the bright lights of the state tournament.

Defensively, Gorup’s 87 mph arm and light, calm feet allow him to play athletically on the move, creating plus angles and carry across the diamond. A strong blend of offensive impact and steady infield actions makes him one of the more intriguing young infielders in Nebraska’s 2028 class.

5 Creighton Prep OF/RHP
Levi Anthony is a 6.8 runner whose speed plays even faster in games. At the plate, he shows calm, mature actions with plenty of juice — topping at 99 mph exit velocity and leaving the yard with a three-run homer at the Super Sophomore Games. A consistent barrel finder with athleticism, Anthony projects well as he continues to develop.
