Scouting Report
6'0" 160 lbs. athletic frame. Blanchard had a big night at the plate for the Gators last Thursday against Sterlington. The uncommitted junior infielder connected for a two-out, 2 RBI double to LF in his first at-bat that cut the Panthers lead to 3-2. He then drove a two-strike single back up the middle in his second at-bat, before hitting another RBI double in his fourth at-bat to finish the night 3-3 with the 2 2B's and 5 RBI. Blanchard has good bat-to-ball skills with a smooth left-handed swing, and he hits the ball extremely wall to the opposite field.

5'10" 140 lbs. wiry frame with a ton of room to add strength. We had heard good things about Blanchard coming into Friday, so we were excited to finally get an up close look at him. The St. Amant product was hitting out of the nine-hole for the Gators and had a good night, as he finished 1-2 with a R and 2 RBI. It's a pretty simple and fluid swing from the left side, as he works inside/out through the baseball with a level path. Blanchard is also a solid defender and is a sophomore that we'll definitely be monitoring moving forward.
