Ryan Wetmore C / 1B / Christian Brothers Academy, NJ / 2027Rankings StateRank: 31 / POS: 4
Wetmore was a participant in this summer’s Prep Baseball Future Games and represented Team New Jersey as one of the two catchers brought. He has a lean, wiry frame of 6 ‘1 and 175-pounds and moves with noticeable athleticism behind the plate. His defensive metrics include a pop time of 1.95-2.07 with a strong-arm strength of 77 mph. In gameplay he controlled the running game very well with multiple caught steals and limited free 90s with athletic, reactionary blocks. Offensively, the RHH has a slight upward bat path that is turned through the zone with a right-center field direction, staying inside the baseball. He has produced an exit velocity up to 95.2 mph, max distance of 357 feet, and a bat speed of 74.5 mph. Keep an eye on this underrated catcher from the Garden State.

Luke Palermo LHP / 1B / St Joseph, NJ / 2027Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 4
This talented LHP is 6 ‘2, 195-pounds and possesses a tremendous amount of up-side and projectability. Palermo has a traditional three pitch arsenal of fastball, slider, and changeup with the ability to command and locate all three pitches. His fastball is typically 84-85 mph with up to a 2,300-rpm spin rate, the slider is 72-75 mph, and his changeup is 74-76 mph with a spin rate of 1,100-rpm. The combination of his command, pitch movement, loose arm action, and projectability gives Palermo the makeup of an intriguing prospect.

Carson Glose 3B / RHP / Pope John Paul II, PA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 33 / POS: 4
This past summer Glose was on Team Pennsylvania for the Prep Baseball Future Games and was a standout performer offensively. The 6 ‘2 and 206-pound two-way prospect can impact the game in a multitude of ways including offensive production, defensive playmaking, and pitching. In gameplay, Glose produced multiple hard-hit baseballs for singles and extra-base hits all over the entire field including a backside ground rule double. His offensive metrics have been up to 97.2 mph exit velocity and an average exit velocity of 89.7 mph. On the mound he has been up to 89 mph and typically throws his fastball 85-87 mph. Overall, Glose is the ultimate competitor and gamer that always seems to produce in games.

Hayden Spencer RHP / 3B / MERCYHURST PREPARATORY SCHOOL, PA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 38 / POS: 12
One of the most physical, muscular builds in the Keystone State. Spencer is 5 ‘10 and 220-pounds with a strong, athletic build. He is a two-way prospect that produced high-level numbers from both sides of the baseball. His fastball is typically 88-90 mph and paired with a 75-76 mph curveball that has a shorter and tighter movement profile. Offensively, he produces an exit velocity up to 97.8 mph and a max distance of 377 feet. He has a short, compact swing that has a direct path to the baseball with the ability to naturally lift the ball. Keep an eye-out for this Western PA talent.

Jed Lloyd RHP / 1B / Manlius Pebble Hill, NY / 2027Rankings StateRank: 95 / POS: 35
The fastball shows true hop and ride through the top of the zone for consistent swing-and-miss action above barrels. He pairs it with a sharp, two-tier slider that tunnels well off the heater and collects whiffs with late bite and depth. The combination gives him a confident one-two punch capable of missing bats at higher levels.
