With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Michigan is eagerly anticipating bringing the state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2025 Spring Team Preview: Trenton Trojans

Team Name: Trenton Trojans

2024 Record: 30-11
2024 Tourney Finish: State Semi Finals loss to Flint Powers Catholic
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/5

Coach Outlook: "We think we have a talented roster capable of matching the success we had in 2024. We return two All-State players, Ashton Rooney '25 and Joel Mator (LHP) '25.  Rooney and Mator will be the tone setters on the mound with guys like Talon Vanhovel '25, Easton Curry '26, Easton Demers (LHP) '26, and Brennan Gulliver '26 providing a solid supporting cast.  Defensively we will have depth across the board with numerous options to build a strong hitting lineup.  Zach Lamay '26, Easton Tinsley '25, and Niko Beaudrie '26 will compete for innings handling our pitching staff, with each having the ability to move all over the field to improve our defensive flexibility. Davis Gray '25 and Lukas Totten '25 will also be returning and fighting to make their mark on the team. There is a solid supporting cast of players competing to make the Varsity from a JV squad that went 27-1-1 last year. Our offense will be structured to put pressure on our opponents. We won't stray too much from our overall identity, but our personnel will determine how much we use different components of our offense/baserunning."
