Jay Secretarski Named Prep Baseball NC Player of the Week

Jay Secretarski put together one of the most explosive offensive weeks of the season to earn Player of the Week honors. The senior shortstop went 7-for-12 at the plate with six home runs—including two grand slams—and drove in 15 runs while also drawing three walks and stealing two bases. His week was highlighted by a three-home-run performance and a two-homer game at the Mingo Bay Classic. Secretarski is now hitting .508 on the season with 12 home runs, 39 RBI, 19 walks, and 22 stolen bases. Asheville finished the week with a 3-1 record.
