Teagan Scott C / OF / South salem, OR / 2026The number one ranked player in his state class for the fourth consecutive update, Scott continues to produce in a big way and is solidifying himself as one of the top catchers on the class nationally. The Oregon State commit has mashed the baseball this spring for a South Salem team that is undefeated and ranked #1 in Prep Baseball Oregon's Power 25 to this point. Scott also earned Prep Baseball Hitter of the Week honors earlier this spring, in a week where he hit over .600 with 2 home runs and 10 RBI. Expect the backstop to continue to dominate in his high school career.

Trenton Hertzog 3B / C / Tualatin, OR / 2026A dynamic athlete committed to the University of Oregon, Hertzog has dominated on both sides of the baseball for a Tualatin side off to a hot start this spring. Known for his prowess offensively, Hertzog turned heads at Prep Baseball's Preseason All-State with his skills defensively, moving to the catcher position. He also showcased his versatility in winning Pitcher of the Week earlier this season. The smooth lefty swing is still the aspect of his game with the most promise after showing out against top competition at last summer's Prep Baseball Future Games. Game-changing junior across the diamond. |

Grady Saunders RHP / SS / Thurston, OR / 2026Prep Baseball scouts were thoroughly impressed with the lean righty arm in a recent look during high school action. Saunders flashed a three pitch mix that overpowered hitters, headlined by a FB up to 92 MPH. The Oregon State commit built on the strong showing with a fantastic outing last week, throwing 7 no-hit innings while striking out 16 batters. Saunders is an electric arm talent in a 6'0 frame that will be watched closely in the coming months.

Notable Newcomers

Cal Gradwahl C / 1B / Adrienne C. Nelson, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 7
The highest ranked debutee in this rankings update, Gradwahl had a great showing at the Pacific Northwest Preseason ID this February. Smooth lefty stroke was on the barrel, with a peak exit velocity of 94.4 MPH and best batted ball distance of 348 feet. The projectability at the dish is what intrigues, as the 6'4 frame moves well overall. Gradwahl posted a best catcher pop time of 2.12 seconds from behind the plate as well. |

Caleb Babcock OF / LHP / Philomath, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 67 / POS: 9
A plus athlete that was seen at the Corvallis Preseason ID has continued to produce into the spring, winning Hitter of the Week honors this past week in Oregon with a 10/17 performance. Looked the part at the ID event with a 94.4 MPH peak exit velocity and a 6.98 60-yard dash time. Twitchy prospect also had throws up to 84 MPH from the outfield, earning him a spot in the latest 2026 rankings. |

Landon Hartman LHP / OF / Oregon City, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 71 / POS: 8
The lefty arm showed some nice jumps in stuff on the mound at PNW Preseason All-State. Strike thrower from a compact frame ran the heater up to 83.4 MPH and sat 82-83 throughout. 3-pitch mix with a CB/CH both in the low 70's rounds out the arsenal. |
Preseason Showcase Standouts

Arlo Copony RHP / SS / Cleveland, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 5
Strong-framed 6'4 righty attended the Corvallis Preseason ID as a two-way player, but really popped on the mound. Righty arm featured an athletic delivery and ran the FB up to 88 MPH. Sat 84-87 MPH for strikes, some of the best velocities posted in Oregon's preseason circuit. CH/CB/SL offspeed arsenal rounded out a starter's mold. Arm to circle this summer with plenty of potential and natural strength. |

Graeme Warner-McGee OF / RHP / Lincoln, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 3
Among the best all-around showings in the preseason, Warner-McGee posted major gains in his metrics at PNW Preseason All-State. Peaked with an exit velocity of 100.6 MPH with a max batted ball distance of 380 feet. FB sat 83-86 MPH, a nice jump since his previous look last summer. CH killed spin well and SL flashed plus. Athleticism shown in a 6.90 60-yard dash time. Big time improvements shown. |

Jack Kiesel C / OF / Adrienne C. Nelson, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 5
Kiesel was seen at the Upperclass All-State Games in Arizona this winter and showed out metrically across the board. The catcher posted a 2.00 second pop time with 77 MPH throws to the bag, as well as a 7.03 second 60-yard dash time. He also peaked with a 94.6 MPH exit velocity, with a RH swing that generated leverage. The 6'0 junior will be in attendance at PNW State Games this summer. |
Prospects to Circle This Spring
![]() |
Jaden Tragesser SS / 2B / Lakeridge, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 3
Athletic infielder broke into the top 10 thanks to a standout showing at PNW Preseason All-State, posting a 6.88 60-time with sound defensive actions. The bat was a real seperator, posting a 97.9 MPH peak and 91.7 MPH average exit velocity. Tragesser should continue to see plenty of at-bats at the top of a talented Lakeridge order, and is one of the top uncommitted infielders to follow in the state. |
![]() |
Ryan Hemsley RHP / SS / West Linn, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 2
The starting shortstop and a key arm for one of the top teams in the state, Hemsley stays in the top 10 in the latest rankings update and is another top-tier uncommitted junior. The 6'0 athlete has run his FB into the upper 80's and been a staple in the middle of the order for the three-time defending state champs. Prep Baseball expects Hemsley to be a key part of another deep playoff run and will be watching him closely in the coming months. |

Cameron Hyder OF / LHP / McMinnville, OR / 2026Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 2
An athletic outfielder that continues to show steady improvements, Hyder showed well last summer and carried it into the '25 preseason, where he was seen at PNW Preseason All-State. The righty bat showed some added pop and was on the barrel, but quickness still present for the lefty glove. If arm strength and overall skillset continue to develop, look for Hyder to get some looks at the next level. |
