Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state. Thanks to Mizuno for sponsoring both awards this season.

Let's take a look at the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for Week 10 of the 2025 spring season. 

 

MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Sullivan Reed 3B / 1B / Lamar, MS / 2027 Reed picks up our Player of the Week honor after the sophomore went 7 for 8 with 2 home runs, 4 doubles, a triple, with 12 runs batted in. The former Junior Future Games participant is hitting .616 on the year with 9 home runs, 12 doubles, and 54 runs batted in.

 

MIZUNO PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Maddox Miller LHP / 1B / Oak Grove, MS / 2025 Miller earned the Pitcher of the Week honor after a strong performance vs. #8 ranked Petal. The Mississippi State signee threw 7 innings, allowing 4 hits, 0 earned runs, with 9 strikeouts. On the season the lefty is 8-1 with a 0.93 ERA with 82 strikeouts in 45 innings pitched.
