Fox Creek  2     Seneca 0

Under the lights in a nonregion clash, Fox Creek and Seneca went toe-to-toe in a classic pitchers' duel. With both teams battling for position in a tight playoff race, the intensity was felt from the very first pitch. A packed crowd filled the stands, ready for a showdown between two programs with postseason aspirations on the line.

Pitching was the story all night, as both staffs were locked in—pounding the zone, changing speeds, and keeping hitters off balance. Every at-bat was a grind, with defensive units making key plays to back up their arms. Underclassmen rose to the occasion under pressure, while veteran pitchers led with command and composure.

From start to finish, this matchup was a display of grit, sharp execution, and high-level baseball.

Check out the notes and video highlights below for a breakdown of the standout performers in this intense battle!

Devin Hillary 2025 LHP Fox Creek Cleveland CC Commit

Devin operates with a smooth, repeatable delivery and a calm mound presence. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with solid tempo and rhythm, staying balanced throughout his motion. His fastball, sitting 84–86 mph, comes out of the hand with late life and arm-side run, allowing him to challenge hitters up in the zone or run it inside on right-handers. The slider, working 68–70 mph, has sweeping horizontal break and serves as a quality secondary pitch. It’s especially effective against same-side hitters, giving them a tough angle to handle. He demonstrates feel for sequencing and keeps hitters off balance by changing eye levels and mixing speeds. Athletic frame with competitiveness at every position he plays.

Bradley Anderson 2025 RHP Fox Creek Western Carolina Commit

Bradley brings a noticeable uptick in velocity and overall polish in this outing. The FB explodes out of his hand with late ride, making it especially effective up in the zone and tough to square up. He shows confidence in attacking hitters with the heater early in counts and in pressure situations. Mechanically, he’s compact and athletic, with an efficient drive off the mound and smooth arm action. His tempo stays under control, allowing for consistent timing and repeatability throughout his delivery. His slider, sitting 80–81 mph, is a true swing-and-miss pitch with tight, late-breaking horizontal action. He throws it with fastball intent, which enhances the deception and makes it a strong weapon against both righties and lefties. Big time showing from an elite arm.
