2026 RHP Tyler Schumacher secures this week's Pitcher of the Week award! The two-way Marshall University commit pitched a complete game shutout against a talented South Laurel team, handing them just their third loss of the season. The Campbell County righty was dominant all day long, allowing just 4 H and 2 BB while striking out an impressive 15 hitters as the Camels picked up win number 13 on the season. Although it didn't matter for this award, the #2 ranked SS flexed his two-way talent at the plate as well, recording 12 hits last week while scoring 6 runs, driving in 7 and stealing 4 bags. Schumacher now leads the Camels' pitching staff with a team-low 1.35 ERA through 26.0 IP, allowing only 5 ER and 9 BB while recording a stellar 40 Ks en route to a 3-0 record. Congratulations to the young two-way for a fantastic performance last week and being named Prep Baseball KY Pitcher of the Week!
