We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players that had massive weeks, but Tres Lorah's CG on the mound along with his week at the plate put him over the top.

The NOC-Tonkawa signee was outstanding on both sides of the ball for the Elgin Owls. On the mound, the senior threw a CG shutout, allowing just 2 Hits while striking out 13. At the plate, Lorah was equally impressive as he went 6/13 with 2 HR and 5 RBI. Elgin is in the midst of another big year as last week they improved to 21-3 on the season with Lorah playing a big role in that success.
