The winter schedule has come to a close as players are now beginning to get their season's underway. The 2025 preseason showcase schedule featured the first-ever Hawaii Preseason Invitational which was an eight-team tournament to open up the year that saw all positional players run through a pro-style workout alongside our tech partners, while we also collected updated TrackMan pitching data on all arms during gameplay.
Our staff had eyes on over 100 players and with the season finally here, there is still a ton of quality uncommitted talent still on the board in Hawaii's senior class. Over the next couple weeks, our staff will begin highlighting some of these names who need to be on the radar of college coaches looking to roundout their 2025 class.
We continue our Top Uncommitted Senior Spotlight Series with '25 SS/RHP Noah Bernal of Pearl City HS. Bernal impressed at the Hawaii Preseason Invitational as he flashed his arm strength across the diamond at 87mph, ran a 6.98 60-yard dash and posted a peak exit velocity of 88.2mph.

Scouting Report
5-10/155, lean & loose...2025 athletic SS/RHP who can do a little bit of everything on both sides of the ball with +projection...good swing, very loose & handsy with plenty of hand speed as was 7th best Blast Hand Speed (21.8) of event at 150 lbs, can only imagine hand & bat speed (92.3 Trackman Exit Velo) to improve with strength gains...good feet/actions at SS, very loose arm with +arm action & 82 INF velo, +athlete who likely ends up with enough arm for SS/3B, may be best suited at 2B where could be above-average, wouldn't be surprised if ended up better defender in CF, UTL value, far from polished but love the upside defensively...posted a solid 60 time, feel run can improve with added strength & speed training, improving run would greatly increase value & ability to stay up-the-middle...RHP who's been up to 87 with +run solid four-pitch mix, velo & stuff could spike as well after adding strength, two-way value guy...quality makeup kid...huge upside...#20 ranked Hawaii 2025...makings of DI recruit.
