What's New In The Top 10

Luke LaCourse RHP / 3B / Bay City Western, MI / 2025

Report: LaCourse jumps up one spot in the 2025 rankings after a strong showing at the Prep Baseball Super 60 in February. The righthander broke an event record for RPM on his breaking ball (3400-3500) - the previous record was 3100 RPM. LaCourse sat 90-92 with a 3 pitch mix off the fastball. Already making one start this spring, LaCourse is on pace for another big spring for Bay City Western as he hopes to lead them back to MSU and a State Championships appearance later in June.

Chad Brown RHP / Hemlock High School, MI / 2025

Report: Brown jumps into the Top 10 following a strong showing at ProCase in March. Brown, a Central Michigan signee, has a projectable frame already 6’5 240, has good strength in lower half and a fastball into the low 90s and good shape to the slider. Brown is coming off a stellar 2024 campaign from HS and summer, helping lead Midland Berryhill Post 165 to an American Legion World Series 2nd place finish in Shelby, N.C.

Rising In The Rankings

Luke DeMasse RHP / Dakota High School, MI / 2025

Report: Slender right hander with a high ceiling and in a good position to make some noise early in his college career with a fastball sitting into the low 90s and a sweeping slider that will make hitters uncomfortable this spring. DeMasse will headline a talented Dakota squad looking to make another deep run in the postseason on Detroit’s eastside.

Jackson Miller LHP / Lakeland, MI / 2025

Report: We initially saw Miller back in 2023 at TPG Trials and has made significant progress since then adding some mass to his 6’3 frame and increased velocity to his fastball touching 90-91. Another ProCase standout - the BGSU commit looks to cap off a senior year with a strong string of outing leading Lakeland into postseason.

Chance Sobbry 1B / Dexter, MI / 2025

Report: Former Senior Future Games participant, Sobbry already profiling a hitter's knack with a good track record at the plate. Power to both alleys and good eye makes him an opposing threat to any pitcher he will face this spring.

Spring Must See

Tommy Rose SS / RHP / Plymouth High School, MI / 2025

Report: Rose has been good gains over the offseason, most notably on the mound, with a fastball into the low 90s and a sharp slider and serviceable change up. Rose has limited miles on the arm and make him one of the top two-way prospect left in the 2025 class.

Jackson Asaro OF / C / Plymouth, MI / 2025

Report: A dynamic athlete with speed and range in the outfield makes Asaro a must see for coaches this spring looking to add an OF to their recruiting classes. Posting a 6.7 and solid round at ProCase, we feel Asaro is poised for a big senior season for the Wildcats. Nothing flashy within his swing - short, simplistic and able to make consistent contact to middle of field.

Jaden Oliver RHP / 1B / Orchard Lake St Mary's, MI / 2025

Report: Another OLSM product looking to make his stamp on the Eaglet program this spring, Oliver has boosted his arsenal on the mound the a fastball sitting 90-91 with the SL/CH combo off the FB. Oliver looking to play a key role for OLSM this spring and should be ready for a heavy load on the bump.
