Scouting Report

Jordan Andrews, a 2026 LHH 1B/LHP from Liberty Hill, has developed into one of the more reliable two-way players in the Central Texas region. At 5-11, 205 pounds, he has a sturdy build with room to add strength, and the physical gains he’s made are starting to show up consistently in his game. Offensively, Andrews shows a solid base at the plate with feel for the barrel and a pull-side approach that flashes bat speed and emerging power. He has posted a 98 mph exit velocity with us, and there’s more in the tank as he continues to refine his swing. Defensively, he’s a steady presence at first base with clean actions, good footwork around the bag, and arm strength that plays at 84 mph across the diamond.

On the mound, the left-hander has a clean arm path and a slightly uptempo delivery with a solid lower half load. His fastball sits in the low 80s with tail and angle, and the slider—working in the low 70s with spin into the 2300s—is the more promising of his breaking balls. He also shows feel for a developing changeup with some sink. As a pitcher, continued growth in command and pitch separation will elevate his profile further. Above all, Andrews competes with an edge. His toughness and steady production on both sides make him a player you trust and one that coaches can count on.
