The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

This weeks 'Pitcher of the Week' honor goes to '25 LHP Ian Lenius Middleton (Utah Commit) after a solid outing against Rocky Mountain, helping the Vikings secure the shutout victory.

'25 LHP Ian Lenius Middleton (Utah Commit) really found his groove last week against Rocky Mountain. He struck out 11 Grizzley hitters as Middleton's offense was able to push 6 runs accross and secure the win. Lenius relied heavily on his fastball that created 23 swing and misses at the plate, he threw a total of 98 pitches with 68 of them being strikes, and even more impressively 77 of those 98 pitches were fastballs. Lenius showed confidence and pose on the mound. He trusted himself and his defense to get the job done last week securing another Viking win.
