Avery Booker Named Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week

Avery Booker (RHP, Charlotte Latin, Class of 2025) has been named the Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week after tossing a dominant no-hitter to cap off a two-game sweep of 14-1 Covenant Day.

Booker was flawless on the mound, throwing seven no-hit innings without issuing a walk and striking out 10 batters. His command and efficiency were on full display, as he completely silenced the Covenant Day offense and delivered one of the top pitching performances of the week.

Charlotte Latin finished the week 2-0, with Booker’s outing serving as the exclamation point. The senior right-hander continues to be a steady presence on the mound and a key leader for the Hawks in 2025.
