Today we are releasing our third version of the Virginia/DC Private School Top 10. Take a look at some notes on a few teams from inside the rankings.
- While the top two remain unchanged, there was some small movement throughout the rest of the Top 10. Greenbrier Christian has compiled four quality wins so far this season, including three in the last two weeks (Godwin, Shores, Western Branch). They have their spring break tournament this week and that will be a test of their arm depth. This week could catapult the Gators up even higher.
- Cape Henry moves into the Private School Top 10 and is slowly making moves to right the ship. While they lost four straight games very early on, the Dolphins have won nine of their last twelve games. The biggest reason for this move, outside of a three win week last week and their status as trending up, is Cape does not have a single that is remotely close to a bad loss. The "worst loss" is one run loss to Benedictine, who threw Jake Wise that game. Wise happens to be one of the best pitchers in the state. They have one run losses to GCA, Shores, Benedictine, and a two run loss to Miller School.
- Along with our Power 25 on Mondays, we will update our Private School Top 10 every Tuesday.
