Washington Uncommitted Spotlight - '26 OF/RHP Suvam Nayak

As the Washington high school baseball season continues, Prep Baseball features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball Preseason ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week, we spotlight 2026 OF/RHP Suvam Nayak. The junior from Kamiak High School was most recently seen at the Northern Washington Preseason ID this February.
A 6'3, 190 pound prospect, Nayak exhibited two-way ability, running his fastball up to 80 MPH on the mound and posting exit velocities over 90 MPH at the plate. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including video and scouting reports from the event this winter.

Body: 6-3, 190-pounds. Wide, projectable build with 6'3 frame
Hit: RHH. Narrow, more upright set up. Starts tell pre-pitch. Gathers on backside at leg lift prior to aggressive forward stride. Lands in a wider base and hits from a more spread position. Solid lead leg blocking at contact. Hands start out front of rear shoulder then push back away from body during forward stride.
