Preseason All-State 2020 Spotlight: SS Cooper Biven

The annual Invite Only Preseason All-State showcase for the state's top Junior prospects is coming up February 16th at Roundtripper Sports Academy in Westfield, IN. Leading up to the event we will be highlighting some of the top prospects to be in attendance.

Scouting Report

; 8/1/18: Future Games--6.96-60, 79-INF, 85-Exit Velocity

6/12/18: 2020 MIF prospect. Hits from right side, simple athletic setup in box. Showed good bat speed and feel for the barrel. Used all parts of the field during BP. Bat is quick through the zone and showed line drive ability. In the field showed good athletic actions, soft hands with clean exchange and good footwork. Arm strength is average at this point.

4/18/18 Spring Scout Blog: Smaller frame young 2020 with a solid tool set. Defensively displays soft hands, average footwork. Tendency to sit on heels at times. Arm is loose with average strength. Hits from right side, simple set up with lead off hitter profile. Highly competitive prospect with a high energy motor. Tool set will progress with added strength. Good follow in the 2020 class.
