Idaho HS Player of the Week (April 22-27)

The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.
This weeks 'Player of the Week' honor goes to '24 C Tommy Woodcock (Sugar Salem HS) after posting a .583 batting average with five hits, two doubles, and six runs batted in.

'24 C Tommy Woodcock (South Mountain CC Commit) was a run producing machine at the plate this past week. Contributing twelve runs for the Diggers this week. Woodcock has put together a strong senior campaign this season. This week was a showing of his athleticism at the plate, along with his ability to hit for extra base hits. The senior catcher has a .435 batting average in 46 at bats , seven doubles, and three home runs while only striking out five times this season. The Diggers have completed their regular season 16-4 while remaing undefeated in conference play, they are headed to post season play as the winners of the 3A Mountain Rivers Conference Champions.
