Taylor County LHP Cole McLean takes home this week's pitching award after an absolutely absurd week on the mound, picking up a shocking 30 strikeouts. The southpaw led the Cards to two big wins over talented programs this week, first against Boyle County and later against top 10 ranked Lyon County in our KY High School Invitational. McLean picked up 19 Ks in a CG shutout against Boyle County to set a school record for the Cards. A University of Tennessee commit, McLean is a dangerous two-way threat and is off to a blazing hot start at the plate and on the bump. Congratulations to the junior ace on the weekly award!
