Dane Dial 3B / RHP / Pine Creek, CO / 2028

Dial was the offensive winner on the day during this year's Northern Colorado Rising Stars event thanks to a 93 mph top exit velocity, and a 364 ft. max distance. The youngster was able to flash some true pop thanks strong hands and plenty of whip in the bat. Dial also got up to a 76 mph infield velocity with defensive feel.

Owen Lee SS / RHP / Broomfield High School, CO / 2028

Lee is a well rounded young athlete who presented exceptionally well on the mound. The fastball on Lee was up to 81 mph while he spun his curveball and slider around 2300-2500 rpms with pitchability and conviction. Lee also chucked 82 mph from the infield, and posted an 89 top exit velocity with a max distance of 334 ft.

Tucker Waddell RHP / 2B / Stevens High School - 42, SD / 2028

Waddell was a smooth moving athlete during this Rising Stars event and he posted some quality all around metrics. The fastball on Waddell got up to 80 mph to go with a serviceable changeup and curveball. Waddell also showcased a strong round of batting practice where he managed an 86 mph top exit velocity and a 325 ft. max distance.

Aiden Solano RHP / 1B / University Schools, CO / 2028

Solano showcased some quality feel on the mound during this event thanks to a fastball over 77 mph and a deceptive slider. The frame on Solano is easy to dream on at 6 ft. with a wiry and athletic build.

Peyton Pettinger OF / RHP / Eaton, CO / 2028

Pettinger flashed some electric swings during batting practice Monday while getting up to a 93 mph top exit velocity. The young prospect is athletic and strong with some true feel across the diamond. Pettinger also got up to 76 mph on the mound with pitchability and 77 mph from the outfield.

Nixon Sikes RHP / 3B / Fort Collins High School, CO / 2028

Sikes presents some solid catching upside already as a developing left-handed hitting backstop. In this event, Sikes posted a 71 mph catching velocity with a pop time range from 1.86 to 2.10. Sikes controls his body well and also flashed some strong swings with over an 85 mph top exit velocity.

Brayden Moreno LHP / OF / Pine Creek, CO / 2028

The southpaw has some intriguing arm actions as a young prospect. Moreno was up to 74 mph on the mound in this event but has more in the tank thanks to a 77 mph outfield velocity as well. Moreno has a loose and easy arm that comes with deception in his pitching delivery. We also saw Moreno control his changeup and slider to give him feel of the full arsenal.
