Tall, athletic bodied righty at six-foot-five, 230 pounds. Starter size, body type, delivery and arm action. Clean and compact circle to high ¾ slot. Lands balanced and on-line. Repeats. High spin rate fastball at 90-92 mph showed ride when up, yet kept mostly down in the zone with good life. Repeated swing/miss. Mixed in a tight, hard, downer curveball at 76-79 mph. Potential next level out pitch. Could receive Day Two draft consideration this June if the velocity shown this evening in one inning appearance is the velo he holds as starter in a normal (non showcase) setting this spring.
