Top Returners:

  • Charlie Greer (2025) - 6’3", 205
    • Charlie received some part time duty last year at 3rd base and on the mound. We are counting on him to make the jump at the Varsity level this year. He has worked extremely hard to become a better athlete on the field and in the weight room.
  • Brayden Kent (2025) - 6’1", 210
    • BK as we know him is a football/baseball kid. He’s got a great attitude and will do anything we need him to do including moving to the outfield or playing 1st base. We see him moving around a little at the beginning of the year before finding a spot.
  • Eli Craft (2025) - 5’10", 185
    • Eli is another football/baseball kid. Last year he had some innings on the mound in relief. We are looking for him to take the next step on the mound and compete for an infield position.

  • Tegan Trent (2026) - 5’10", 170
    • Teagan primarily played in the outfield last year as an all-conference player. This year he will become our fulltime catcher with the hopes that he builds on a solid sophomore campaign.
  • Jaxon Parent (2026) - 5’11", 155
    • Jaxon is a solid middle infielder who has some great range. If he can take the next step with his bat, he will compete for some major infield innings throughout the year.
  • Easton Hampton (2026) - 6’0", 175
    • Easton (soccer/baseball) is a utility guy who started for us on the mound as well as played some defensive innings for us at the Varsity level. We are excepting him to continue to build on that
  • Greyson Ritter (2026) - 5’10", 155
    • Greyson is an outfielder with a solid left-handed bat. He’s got some pop for his size and will compete for innings in the outfield.

    • Cash is another football/baseball kid. He’s extremely quick and will look to take our CF job and be a force on the base paths with his speed.
  • Roman Menke (2026) - 6’1", 180
    • Roman is a tall right-handed kid who got several innings last year on the mound for the JV. We are looking for him to take that next step and compete for time on the Varsity as well compete for time on the infield.
  • Nate Eakins (2027) - 5’11", 175
    • Nate had a great freshman year and contributed in several areas. He was in our rotation as a freshman on the mound as well as hitting in quite a few spots in the lineup. By midseason he was playing a lot of innings on the infield as well. We are looking for him to take the next jump at the Varsity level and become a major force on the mound.

Our freshman class is very talented and we have a total of 19 of them out. By far and away our biggest class. We are excited to see what contributions they can bring at all three levels.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “The future of our program is very strong for the next several years. This group is hungry to get back to the playoffs and hopefully do some damage at that level which has become our expectation year in and year out. With 3-4 full time starters returning, we need to fill some new positions, but we have very high goals. Our kids know that every year the goal is to win the conference, win the district, and go compete in the playoffs to try to win a championship. Our pitching depth will be a strength for us with several returning kids who can fill innings and a few returning from injuries. I also believe this lineup can really provide some pop. Our kids have had a great offseason with weights and agility training, getting stronger and faster. We are very excited about the hard work they have put in to be better athletes and baseball players. We are also very excited about our underclassmen. We have a lot of talent running through those levels that should keep us in that Playoff talk for the next several years. More and more pitching will always be needed with he quality of our schedule. We are moving to the Ozark Mountain Conference and it should be a gauntlet with several good teams being Class 5 or Class 6 in Baseball. Traditionally, it has multiple teams ranked in the top ten of the state and it occurred again last year. It will be a quite a change being the smallest school in the conference by a fair amount. Every game will be big game for us with conference and district implications. We hope this type of schedule will get us ready for district time. We have traditionally Class 4 ranked Aurora, Hollister, Springfield Catholic on the schedule. Along with our conference opponents, our schedule is as tough as ever. We have added traditional powers in Fatima, Father Tolton, Blair Oaks, several Class 5 state ranked opponents (Willard, Webb City, Neosho) as well as several 6 area schools including Nixa, Joplin, Republic and several others. Even with the strength of schedule we are facing, we feel we can still get some W’s, compete at a very high level, and hopefully be ready to play our best baseball come playoff time. In order to play at the level, we want come post season time, its important for us to play the best possible schedule we can play as a Class 4 school.” – Casey Ledl, head coach
