We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  While there were multiple prospects from across the state that have gotten off to big starts, and Rhett Winchester from Edmond Memorial is no different  The Barton commit has hit safely in every game so far this season out of the leadoff spot setting the table for a talented lineup and scoring 9 runs in route.  Winchester went a combined 11/14 on the week, including 2 doubles, a triple, and a home run. Further, he added 5 SBs. Winchester flashes the opportunity for both thunder and lightning out of the leadoff spot that can strike in a variety of ways.
