Team Preview
A new era begins in Minden as Holden Orgeron takes over the Glenbrook program, with longtime head coach Tony Sanders remaining on staff to provide continuity and guidance. Despite entering 2026 without a single senior and dealing with injuries that have thinned the roster, the Apaches still have lofty expectations. Pitching and defense will once again be the identity of this club, and their collection of young, high-ceiling arms gives them a real chance to compete every time they take the field.
Glenbrook will be one of the youngest teams in Class 1A, but also one of the most talented. A challenging early-season schedule will accelerate their growth, and the belief internally is that once this group gains experience and tightens up the details, they have the potential to make noise in April. With four legitimate arms and a coaching staff loaded with experience—including former Rice University national champion and Cardinals minor leaguer Adam Rodgers—the Apaches feel well-equipped for a deep postseason run.
Top Returning Players
• Junior MIF/RHP Ryan Reagan
2025 Stats: 29 IP, 1.44 ERA
Entering his third year as a starter, Reagan is one of the foundational pieces of the program. He produced a standout summer both on the mound and at the plate and now transitions defensively from third base to shortstop or second. A good runner with natural athleticism, Reagan gives Coach Orgeron a reliable arm and a steady presence at the top of the lineup.
• Freshman OF/RHP Brayden Watkins
2025 Stats: 16 IP, 2.18 ERA
The 6’3”, 190-lb freshman has already generated significant buzz. Watkins ran his fastball up to 86 mph this fall and shows the athleticism and frame that project well long-term. Expect him to shoulder meaningful innings early while also providing offensive impact. He’s a name to circle for breakout potential.
• Sophomore MIF/RHP Darron Hollingsworth
The son of a former Royals draft pick, Hollingsworth flashed big upside late in 2025, earning a starting role at second base. Twitchy, athletic, and ultra-competitive, he brings “electric” stuff on the mound—another mid-80s arm in the rotation capable of missing bats with true wipeout pitches. At 6’1”, 155 lbs, he still has plenty of physical growth ahead.
• Junior LHP/OF Noah Martin
Martin enjoyed a breakout summer of his own, working in the low-to-mid 80s with natural arm-side run and showing confidence in both his changeup and slider. Offensively, he displayed emerging power and could become a legitimate two-way threat. At 5’10”, 170 lbs, he brings a strong, compact frame and a competitive edge.
• Sophomore C/OF Kleaton Davis
Davis was thrown into the fire as a freshman and responded, delivering clutch moments like a home run against Evangel and the walk-off winner in a 14-inning marathon vs. Loyola. This year, he transitions from the outfield to behind the plate, where the staff expects him to develop into a reliable backstop who can handle the Apaches’ talented arms.
Outlook
Glenbrook opens the 2026 campaign with one of the toughest early schedules in the region, which should accelerate the development of this extremely young group. With no seniors and several players recovering from injuries, the Apaches will need to grow up quickly. Still, the staff believes they have the pitching to compete every night—Reagan, Watkins, Hollingsworth, and Martin form a four-man group capable of matching up with anyone in Class 1A.
The formula this season is clear: pitching, defense, base running, and steady improvement. If Glenbrook can minimize early-season mistakes and find consistency by April, they have the pieces to make a legitimate run.
