2025 Most Viewed Profiles: No. 9 OF Austin Kightlinger

As we close the book on 2025 and turn our attention toward a new year, we continue our annual tradition of spotlighting the Top-25 Most Viewed Profiles from the past calendar year. Using data gathered through Google Analytics, our staff has compiled a list of the 25 prospects whose Prep Baseball profiles generated the most traffic in 2025. Many of the players featured delivered standout performances at various Prep Baseball events throughout the year, helping elevate their visibility and interest.
Beginning December 7th, we’ll count down the list from No. 25 to No. 1, with the top spot being revealed on December 31st. Continuing this year’s countdown is OF Austin Kightlinger, a 2027 Indiana commit from Northside, who lands at No. 9.

Austin Kightlinger OF / Northside, AL / 2027Coming in at No. 9 is OF Austin Kightlinger of Northside, the No. 12 prospect in Alabama’s 2027 class and an Indiana commit who put together a breakout 2025 campaign. Kightlinger was a key piece in leading Northside to a strong season and playoff berth, while also elevating his profile with standout performances at multiple Prep Baseball events, including the Yellowhammer State Games and Prep Baseball Future Games. Across those looks, the athletic outfielder showed a well-rounded toolset, running a 6.90 60-yard dash, posting an 89 mph positional velocity, and reaching a top exit velocity of 96.6 mph. With production translating from the high school season into the summer circuit, Kightlinger capped off his rise by committing to Indiana in early September and continues to trend upward as one of the top outfielders in the state’s 2027 class. |
