The 2018 MLB Draft is less than two weeks away. The Hotlist takes a look at some of the superlatives in the entire draft class—high school and college. Below are several categories and the best respective players in each.

Best Athlete: This category is always dominated by two-sport stars and 2018 is no different. OF Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) is likely to take over the starting quarterback position for the Sooners after playing behind Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. OF Jordyn Adams (Green Hope HS, NC) is a four- or five-star recruit depending on the source and committed to North Carolina for both football and baseball. Whether or not both establish a career on the diamond remains to be seen, given their upside on the gridiron.
