Ranking at No. 3 in the most-viewed profiles of 2025 is RHP Peter Kussow (Arrowhead, 2025).
Kussow is one of the most talented right-handers to come out of the Badger State in some time. Love levered frame with room to continue to fill out. Kussow shows feel for three pitches and looks like he can stick as a starting pitcher in the future. Kussow was the No. 1 ranked prosepct in thr state's 2025 class and was committed to the University of Louisville.
After the spring where he was named Prep Baseball Wisconsin Second Team All-State, Kussow's prolific prep career came to an end when he was selected by the New York Mets in the 4th round, 133rd overall in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Scouting Report
Louisville recruit, one of the top MLB draft prospects in the state, currently the No. 1 ranked prospect in the state’s senior class, standing at 6-foot-5, 210 pounds with strength throughout the frame. Kussow struck out seven batters across four innings, walking two while locating each pitch in the one for strikes. Deceptive delivery, working crossfire to the plate with a loose/funky arm action hiding the ball. The fastball reached 95 mph holding 91-94 mph throughout the outing, locating the pitch to different spots throughout the zone, spinning one of the best breaking balls in the state at 83-86 with two-plane action, go-to offering when ahead inducing multiple swings and misses throughout. Showed a fading change up 84-85 to left-handed batters, still developing, flashed heavy action looking like a future usable pitch.
2025 Super 60: Louisville recruit, came into the day as the top ranked player in Wisconsin in the 2025 class one of the top right-handers in the Midwest. Kussow did not disappoint despite the stage, showcasing power stuff while landing nearly every pitch for a strike. The long levered 6-foot-5, 211 pound athlete is an imposing presence on the mound with more strength and fill coming to his frame in the future. The senior right-hander got down the mound with consistency, repeatability and balance with his powerful move through the baseball. The high 3/4 arm slot allows him to drive the ball downhill from a 5’8” release height giving hitters an extremely deceptive look, especially from someone his height. His fastball 93-95 was located with power and forward life through the zone to precise locations while topping out at 95 mph which was the 4th best velocity of the day. The secondary offerings were equally impressive from Kussow. His slider 87-88 mph displayed a hard and late two plane break that he landed in the zone at will. The 2484 avg RPM’s on the breaking ball was the 4th best at the event. The shape and lateness to his breaking ball was nothing short of Major League quality. Kussow rounded out his arsenal with a change-up at 88-90 with fade and depth when it was near the hitting zone. This offering also landed in the zone with ease and pairs well with his fastball and the presence of the third pitch confirms his profile as a potential starting pitcher prospect. Kussow left the scouts on hand a bit “wow’d” with this performance on Sunday and will certainly see his stock rise as a result of this “lights out” look.
