As we move through the offseason, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our series of State Games Spotlights. This series aims to highlight standout performers at our top invite-only 2025 PNW State Games event. Prep Baseball spotlights aim to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

Today, we spotlight '26 1B Blake Mikel. The senior from Churchill High School showed well at the Eugene Summer ID before securing an invite to State Games at the end of July.

A 6'1, 178 pound prospect, Mikel displayed mature, easy-looking BP rounds with exit velocities up to 93.9 MPH in showcase looks. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from previous looks.
