This update spotlights the premier Infielders & Outfielders still on the board, each of whom has made a strong case through standout Spring production, quality Summer showings, and consistent competitiveness throughout the Fall. With the season approaching, this group is poised to draw even more attention as they work to solidify themselves as top options in the state’s Junior class.

TOP UNCOMMITTED INFIELDERS 🧢

RANK
PLAYERS
HIGH SCHOOL POSITION
7 Chase Ford Orem SS/RHP
Chase stands at 6’3 165 lbs with an athletic frame and ample room for improved physicality. Versatility along with projectability are oozing from this kid, but it also comes with consistent production. Smooth hands and a strong arm that is 88mph from both the mound and the infield, Chase possesses legit two-way potential at the next level. The type of player who can carry a team offensively for a game at any given time, and then walk to the mound and close out a win on the mound.

11 Carson Hunt Dixie 1B/RHP

Carson has solidified himself as one of the top two way talents in the Class. Coming off of a Sophomore season where he was named MVP of the Region, his bat remains an elite tool with huge power upside moving forward. Keep Carson on your list of players to follow this Spring.

19 Zach Sorenson Corner Canyon SS/RHP
Zach recently transferred to Corner Canyon, joining a talented group and should make a significant impact right out of the gate. Very sound defender up the middle with a very strong arm that also shines when he gets on the mound. An athlete with a high ceiling that could be in store for a breakout season in 2026.

23 Boston Walkenhorst Lone Peak SS/RHP

Lone Peak heads into 2026 with a loaded, veteran group that projects to make noise in late May, and Boston will play a crucial part in those aspirations. His athleticism and strength combination make him one of the more intriguing prospects in the Class, with potential as a position player or a pitcher. The upside is real and will be an absolute must follow this Spring.

26 Maddux Jensen Ridgeline SS/RHP

Maddux has continued to make significant strides in his game over the past year, resulting in a top 30 ranking heading into Spring. The 6’3 Junior has displayed strength and athleticism throughout his game on numerous occasions, including our West Coast Games this Fall where he posted multiple new personal bests. A 6.89 runner with significant physical upside in the years to come, you can confidently put Maddux on your list of players to follow in 2026.

34 Colbey Larsen American Fork SS/2B
Colbey had an excellent Summer and Fall circuit and I was fortunate to see him on a number of occasions. Offensively he has elite bat to ball skills with mature approach in the box and can spray the ball to all fields. The defense also plays, but he needs to continue his maturation physically in order to fill out his athletic, 6’2 145lb frame. Add Colbey’s name to your follow list, as you can absolutely count on his continued growth and development at American Fork HS.

36 Cash Stump Viewmont 3B

Cash recently transferred to Viewmont this past Fall, and will play a major role on the team immediately. The hit and power tool projects well and should see significant production in 2026. Put Cash on your must follow list!

40 Soren Swing Olympus SS/RHP

Soren features one of the more intriguing right-handed bats in the Class, showing signs of major power potential this year, and moving forward. Super athletic prospect that plays the game hard and with a big smile, I absolutely expect a breakout season for Mr Swing.

41 Ali Carrillo Jr. Copper Hills SS/3B

When you think of players that just flat out hit, seemingly every time you see them play, include Ali in that group moving forward. His rhythm and timing are very mature for the Class, and he has shown excellent bat to ball skills with power upside as well. The swing plays through the gaps with consistent backspin LD’s and should result in more HR as he continues to mature physically. Very intriguing player and a must follow in 2026.

44 Gage Lintz Copper Hills SS

At 5’9 140lbs, Gage may be on the smaller end of the spectrum, but his production is big. The defensive actions are elite. Extremely twitchy and light on his feet, he presents the glove early out front and plays SS with confidence. The ability to use his feet and quick hands will keep him at SS throughout his career while his physicality catches up. Also one of the top runners in the class (6.73), he applies pressure on the defense anytime he puts a ball in play. I anticipate a breakout season for Gage and his best baseball is certainly ahead of him.

TOP UNCOMMITTED OUTFIELDERS ⚾

RANK
PLAYERS
HIGH SCHOOL POSITION
15 Weston Gilmore Dixie CF

Weston made the biggest jump up the rankings this time around after we got a chance to see him for the first time this Fall. The athleticism and player profile as a left-handed CF that runs exceptionally well, make Weston one of the more exciting prospects in the Class. He will be someone to keep your eye on in 2026, a year we expect to be a breakout one for the Junior Flyer.

16 Porter Campbell Pine View OF

Porter has been a mainstay at the Varsity level for the past two years, showcasing his maturity and production on a consistent basis. He represented Utah this Summer at the Futures Games, putting on display his athleticism and projectable skills. He has proven his ability to play and produce at a high level, and with added strength and speed this offseason, 2026 could be a monster year for Porter.

27 Ryker Morton Mountain Ridge OF/RHP

Ryker continues to improve and that was put on display most recently at the West Coast Games this past October. After posting a 6.92 in the 60, he followed up with 86 velo from the OF and put together another strong round of BP. He has shown excellent bat to ball skills and sneaky power potential that we expect to continue to trend upward. His two-way talent is evident, but his skills as a position player stand out and will play a key role for Mountain Ridge in 2026.

39 Burkon Beus Layton CF

One of the biggest jumps up the rankings this time around is Layton newcomer, Burkon Beus. We got our first look at Burk at our Fall Top Prospects Games, where his athletic upside really shined and his workout impressed. He ended up posting the best 60 time of the event (6.65), which also ended up being the top recorded time in the state for all of 2025. Consider Burkon and Layton HS a must follow this Spring!

42 Crew Nelson Lone Peak OF/RHP

Crew has shown a strong ability to play all over the field and be productive, including the mound. He is a capable SS but may seem himself in the OF moving forward due to his athleticism and versatility, along with a loaded infield at LP in 2026. We expect a big year from Crew and he could be one that makes a huge jump in the next year.

53 Dallon Molder Jordan OF

Dallon showed well at our Preseason All State back in February, and from what we hear he has made significant improvements to his game this Fall. We have Dallon on our must follow list this Spring and expect a breakout type season for the Junior CF.

60 Eddie Bluth Wasatch OF

Eddie continues to showcase his growth and improvement each opportunity he gets. His simple, repeatable swing from the left side produces quality contact to all fields at a consistent rate and he is a sound defender who can play all 3 spots. From the start of Summer, to the end of Fall at our Top Prospects Games, Eddie has take significant strides in his game and looks to be in store for a strong Spring season.

63 Joseph Peak Jordan OF/LHP
Joey has been active on social media this Fall, keeping us in the loop and showing his steady improvment. Quality left-handed swing that gets extended through contact well, and shows signs of potential power with added strength over time. He will get a chance to update his profile in February, after he accepted his invite to the Preseason All State event.

64 Daxton Davis Mountain Ridge OF/LHP
Daxton really improved his prospect status after a strong showing at our Fall Top Prospects Games last month, where he put his present strength and athleticism on display. The 6'3 185 lb Junior really impressed throughout the workout, most notably during his round of BP which was loud and intriguing. Up to 102 EV and a 7.01 runner, the potential is exciting and will be a must follow heading into Spring.

67 Dawson Ferguson Westlake OF
Dawson breaks through into the rankings this time around after a strong showing at our Fall Top Prospects Games, hosted by UVU last month. His simple, left-handed swing stays flat through the zone and generates more power than expected. He dominated the game play with multiple hits and will be an intriguing follow this Spring.
