2026 OUTLOOK
+ White House Heritage enters the 2026 season coming off an outstanding 30–11 campaign that culminated in a Final Four appearance in Class 2A. Under head coach Chance Beck, the Patriots return a strong core of experienced contributors and proven production, positioning them once again as a top contender in District 7.
The offense is led by a veteran group of position players, highlighted by Caleb Cayce (2026), an All-State selection and District MVP who impacted the game in every facet. Cayce hit .298 from the leadoff spot with 11 doubles, 44 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases, while also logging 48 innings on the mound with a 6–1 record, 2.04 ERA, and 57 strikeouts. Defensively, he will anchor the middle infield. Behind the plate, Logan Newton (2026, Tennessee Wesleyan commit) brings consistency and leadership after hitting .310 with 21 RBIs while catching nearly 200 innings and throwing out 14 runners.
Utility standout Dane Hinshaw (2026) adds speed and versatility after posting a .357 career average and stealing 36 bases in 2025, while Max DeHaven (2027) returns after appearing in 34 games last spring and looks poised for a larger role as he enters his junior season. Additional competition and depth comes from Carson Forsythe (2026), who saw action in 17 games, and left-hander Greyson Koch (2026), who is expected to contribute innings on the mound.
On the pitching side, Cayce headlines the staff, joined by Ryan Greer (2027) and Colton Moore, giving the Patriots multiple reliable arms with varsity experience. That group provides both depth and flexibility as Heritage navigates another demanding schedule.
The Patriots also welcome impact underclassmen, including Sam Hetzer (2028), a DH/first baseman with offensive upside, and Colton Connally (2029), a young utility arm who adds to the program’s growing pipeline.
With returning leadership, multiple two-way contributors, and experience from a Final Four run, White House Heritage looks well-positioned to remain among the state’s elite and make another deep postseason push in 2026.
