Crittenden boasts a projectable 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame with present lower half strength. The Eastern Pennsylvania prospect is a product of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in the highly competitive Inter-Ac conference. Coming off a competitive freshman campaign Crittenden looks to take the next leap in his sophomore year.

Offensively, when we saw Crittenden for the first time last winter, he displayed a relaxed setup in which he utilized a leg kick as his gather.  He produced a max exit velocity of 92.5 mph while flashing his ability to elevate the baseball with a max distance of 350 feet. During his impressive round of batting practice, he showed body control and repeatability within his swing. His swing and approach both translate well into a middle of the order bat with the projection of a power hitting third baseman.

In the field, while Crittenden is listed as a third baseman and projects as a third baseman, he has shown the ability to hold it down at shortstop as well. His 84-mph arm strength is plenty strong to make plays in the hole or up the middle on the run. He has displayed repeatable footwork utilizing a prep step and soft feet working through the ground ball.

Crittenden’s blend of size, present tools, and developing polish gives him one of the higher ceilings in his class, and the trajectory is clearly pointing up. With the middle‑of‑the‑order offensive traits and the defensive versatility to handle multiple infield spots, he’s already showing the foundation of an impact corner infielder. As he continues to mature physically and tighten the finer details of his game, Crittenden profiles as a name to follow closely over the next few years.
