Uncommitted Spotlight: '26 Briggs Barlow
December 22, 2025
With the spring season quickly approaching, our focus remains on uncommitted prospects in the Classes of 2026 and 2027. As these athletes enter their final years of high school, many talented upperclassmen remain available, some overlooked and others quietly flying under the radar, each searching for the right opportunity to compete at the next level.
In our Uncommitted Spotlight series, we will continue highlighting these prospects across our site and social media channels. Be sure to visit the Uncommitted Spotlight page under the ‘Players’ tab on the homepage to catch up on previous features as we move through the winter and preseason.”
Barlow worked his way through Prep Baseball events in 2025, beginning at the LV Preseason ID before earning an invite to the Top Prospect Games, which led to his most recent appearance at the West Coast Games. He showcased a three-pitch mix highlighted by a tight slider and a changeup with consistent depth, averaging 2.8 inches of IVB. His zone rates were strong across the board, posting 63% with the fastball, 40% with the slider, and 75% with the changeup, demonstrating the ability to locate all three pitches both in and out of the zone when needed. At 6-foot, 162 pounds, continued physical development and added strength could help add a few ticks to the velocity quickly as he prepares for his senior season at SECTA.
