Most-Viewed Profiles of 2025: No. 3 Carver Cohn
December 29, 2025
If you thought we had just talked about a No. 1-ranked player in the state at McHenry, you would be correct - because they have two of them. OF Carver Cohn (2028), our top-ranked 2028 in the state, comes in as our third most-viewed profile of 2025 after an impressive campaign that helped guide his school to the state tournament - eventually earning a Second-Team All-State selection as only a freshman.
Cohn’s impact he had at the varsity level is not something you see very often, especially from someone his age - hitting his way to a .378 average with 10 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 27 RBIs, 61 runs scored, 26 walks, and 18 stolen bases. He’s a premium athlete with plus instincts in the outfield and on the bases, making him a threat at all times to steal an extra base. A switch-hitter with impressive twitch and strength from both sides, Cohn’s ability to drive the ball around the yard and to the gaps only complements his speed even more, making him a real threat any time he steps into the box.
We’re incredibly excited to see what 2026 has in store for Cohn, and the sky is the limit for the young star.

Scouting Report
Currently ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 18 nationally. Lean 5-foot-9, 163-pound athletic frame with room to add strength. Started in center and hit out of the lead-off position. Cohn continues to impress as he went 1-for-2 at the plate on Friday. The switch-hitter operates from a wide, balanced base with a small stride. Fluid hands from a pure swing that has whip and is long through the zone. Whole field approach. Laid down a bunt in his final at-bat and beat out the throw with 3.81 time down the line out of the right-handers box. His above-average speed also shows on defense as he covers plenty of ground in center. Displayed his strong arm (88 OF velo) during I/O.
