December 19, 2025
As we are nearing the end of another calendar year, we have compiled a list of the top 25 most viewed Indiana player profiles this year. According to our research through our google analytics, these are the most viewed profiles by you the reader in 2025.
Coming in at No. 18 is ’27 OF Mason Meyer (Mt. Vernon HS). The 5-foot-10, 170 pound right-handed hitter did nothing but impress our staff in 2025. Meyer was had an excellent day at the Preseason All-State and went yard in two of our staff's looks in the spring for the Marauders. The former junior future gamer hit .420 in 25 games with 34 hits, 22 RBIs, four doubles, four triples and three home runs. Meyer impressed the rest of the summer and earned an invitation to the Future Games. The junior was a workout winner and hit .500 (4-for-8) on the week. Meyer eventually committed to Arizona State in late September.
‘27 CF/C Mason Meyer (@mason_meyer5) was a workout winner who also batted .500 (4-for-8) on the week.

Scouting Report
Meyer started the day with a bang, burning an event-best 6.54 60-yard dash, one of the top run times we've gotten in the 2027 class. He followed that up by bringing the familiar heavy, accurate barrel to the dish. He posted the loudest offensive metrics of the day, regardless of class, with exits peaking at 100+ mph and averaging 95 mph throughout his round. The speed/power combo will certainly make him a coveted prospect once August 1st hits, as will his position versatility, skillful behind the dish with real CF upside developing.
+ Frame & Tools : Athletic, strong, 5-foot-10, 170 pounder. Best tool is the bat, short swing delivers a heavy barrel with 102-plus exits and present above average bat speed. There is tons of barrel feel with projections of future above average power feeling safe. The feet are a future tool, as well, as he turned in a 6.76 60, also showing the best force plate measures of the day with a 28" standing vert. Arm is an above average tool, 89 from the OF, and 82 from the crouch. He is a versatile defender with his best profile being as an offensive catcher, but the foot speed leaves a CF profile on the table. + Summation: Guys who can really hit are at a premium and Meyer's bat continues to seperate him from his peers. I love the operation in the right-handed box & feel comfortable saying Mason was the best RH hitter at this event, and in the class. I've got a track record with him & have seen him hit premier arms to back that statement. He is a really good athlete for the frame, also a QB for his high school, and the plug-and-play defensive versatility should be an asset to him in the recruiting process. Aside from the physical tools - I am really in on the tough, hard-nosed makeup he brings to the table.
Meyer took one of the more-professional rounds of batting practice of the day, spraying liners from gap-to-gap with impressive barrel control & accuracy. The 5-foot-10, 165 pound right-handed hitter starts in a taller, athletic setup with a loose rhythm in the handset. The rhythm allows the hands to flow into an ideal launch position as he gains ground with a positive forward move. The swing path works short to the ball, with lag that puts the barrel on-plane early, and he is able to work the barrel through the baseball to extension. The path allows for hard contact to all fields, and we have seen him show much of the same in a game setting, and against velocity nonetheless. Meyer holds significant value as a defender, a true utility that can be plugged into almost any position on the diamond. His listed primary is 3B, where he shows sure hands and an 84 mph arm across, and he has the ability to slide over to 2B, as well. Meyer has the athleticism to range in the outfield, and a 6.90 60 keeps CF hopes in play at this time. Meyer may actually profile best behind the dish, where his athleticism stands out and his arm strength translates to above-average catch and throw abilities.
Meyer continues to establish himself as one of the best hitters in the class, and he took a professional round of batting practice at the All-State. I love the pace at which Meyer moves in the box, a controlled operation with an efficient lower half that allows for easy effort. Meyer was all over the barrel, showing some of the best hand-eye in the class, and his best ball left the bat at 92.7 mph. The 5-foot-9, 165 pounder is a swiss-army knife defender, holding the ability to play all 3 OF spots, middle infield, and can catch, as well. Meyer is a multi-sport athlete with body control, and an above average runner for the class (7.16).
