Top-10 Profiles of 2025: No. 10 Sebastian Castillo
December 18, 2025
Checking in at No. 10 in our end-of-year countdown of the top profiles for 2025 is SS Sebastian Castillo (Byron Nelson, 2027; LSU commit).
Castillo took home MVP at the Future Games in July and then committed to LSU shortly after. The SS can really defend, making everything look easy and natural. He is a threat in the box as well, aggressive approach with high level bat to ball skills and some serious pop. Castillo would then display similar traits at the 2025 Prep Baseball All-American Game.
He brings the juice to the dugout as well, always plays with a smile and a love for the game. He will do what it takes for the team to win, even if that entails hopping on the mound to close out a game and sitting upper 80s, low 90s with sink. Winning player.
From 2025 Prep Baseball All-American Game Workout: "The 2025 Future Games 16U MVP Sebastian Castillo (Byron Nelson, TX, 2027) has dynamite bat speed and strength for his shortstop profile, and he launched a ball 413 feet at the workout which helped him maintain momentum as one of the most exciting players in the junior class."
A standout 2025 campaign continues for ‘27 SS Sebastian Castillo with his commitment to @LSUbaseball ‼️
