TOP UNCOMMITTED ARMS ⚾
| HIGH SCHOOL | POSITION | ||
| 8 | Trent Chris | Snow Canyon | LHP |
Click to view Chris' VideoTrent is coming off a great year in 2025, where he solidified himself as a top player in the Class with two-way potential. He features a FB in the mid-upper 80s T89 with ASR that creates a lot of GB/FB outs, and a feel for the CV/CH combo. Trent presents very well as a starter type arm with a strong frame and powerful lower half. Keep Trent toward the top of your lists of uncommitted 2027s heading into Spring that expect to have big seasons!

| 9 | Sammy Dart | Spanish Fork | LHP |
Click to view Dart's VideoSammy remains one of the smartest, craftiest arms in the state, consistently producing year in and year out. After a successful Futures Games appearance, he has been grinding through the offseason and investing heavily into his body. You can see the growth and maturity physically, and I fully expect the work to translate to the field. One of the top left-handers in the Class, Sammy stands to have another strong season for the Dons, and I anticipate a commitment in the near future!
| 14 | Talon Willardson | American Fork | LHP |
Click to view Willardson's VideoOne of the more impressive breakout seasons of the year came from Talon. The Futures Games alum helped lead American Fork to another 6A State Championship on the mound, bolstering a 6-0 Record, hurling 39 Innings with a 39/9 strikeout to walk ratio and a 2.29 ERA. A consistent strike thrower from the left side living in the low 80s T85, and confidently throwing all 3 pitches at any time. A two sport athlete with serious strength that may see him in the lineup this year, Talon has the ability to be a top player, for a top program in the State, that is looking to win back to back titles.

| 20 | Sawyer Call | Lehi | RHP |
Click to view Call's VideoSawyer is a classic example of the saying “play hard you never know who is watching”. I happened to see Sawyer pitch in a big spot over the Summer at a non-PBR event, and he was awesome. An unknown player to me at the time, he quickly displayed in his first 2 innings that he was a legitimate arm and a kid I needed to continue to follow. He has smooth, repeatable mechanics and an over the top delivery from the right side. The CV has shown signs of being an elite pitch, spinning it 2800+ on average and above 3000 at times. With the FB sitting 86-88 this Fall T90, Sawyer is making a case for a top arm in the Class going into next season. I fully expect him to have a breakout Spring on the mound for a top program in the State at Lehi. |
| 21 | Beckham Rowley | Deseret Peak | LHP |
Click to view Rowley's VideoBeckham has been one of the premier left-handers in the Class for the past two years, and he remains in that category heading into Spring. A heavy Varsity contributor from the mound as a Freshman, he has shown an ability to pitch and attack hitters with plus “stuff”. Beckham is a strong, physical athlete with a FB in the mid 80s that we expect to take another uptick in 2026.
| 24 | Dalton Fay | Mountain Ridge | RHP |
Click to view Fay's VideoDalton has blossomed into one of the top right-handed arm talents in the Class, with the FB sitting in the upper 80s and shows signs of substantial added velo over time. The SL has swing and miss potential that he plays off the FB well and will keep hitters honest in every count. His tall, athletic frame and live arm action make him a very intriguing follow headed into Spring.
| 30 | Schafer Dixon | Mountain Ridge | RHP |
Click to view Dixon's VideoAn intriguing prospective arm that just seems to get better and better each month, has been Schafer out of Mountain Ridge HS. The 6’5 right hander has really made strides the past year on the mound, putting him right in the mix for one of the top arms in the Class moving forward. Sitting mid 80s T88 at our Summer ID in July, and having a similar outing at West Coast Games this Fall, I was impressed with the frame and ease in which he made his delivery. A live arm combined with added physicality and maturation is going to see Schafer in the low 90s before his HS career is over. An exciting follow going into the 2026 Season!
| 32 | Karson Fankhauser | Mountain Ridge | RHP |
Click to view Fankhauser's VideoAt our West Coast Games this Fall, Karson displayed a lot of the upside you want to see in a pitching prospect. Athletic, poised, repeatable mechanics and a quality 3 pitch mix. The FB topped 87 with heavy ASR and signs of added velo over time. Karson looks the part of a strong, well rounded athlete with a high ceiling from the mound.
| 36 | Crew Anderson | Pleasant Grove | RHP |
Click to view Anderson's VideoCrew really impressed at our Fall Top Prospects Games, flashing one of the best FB of the entire event, topping 87 but with a heavy feel to it. He is a big, strong athlete with a power lower half and live arm action that we expect to be a featured arm in the PG stable this year.
| 37 | Hudson Smith | North Sanpete | LHP |
Click to view Smith's VideoHudson has made significant strides in his game this past year, most notably on the mound. His FB topped 85.9 at our Fall Top Prospects from the left side, showcasing an ability to repeat his delivery and release point with all 3 pitches. Mature approach to his outings each chance we’ve seen him throw, and his physical frame to match that maturity should see the trend upwards continue. Keep your eye firmly on Hudson’s Junior season.

TOP UNCOMMITTED CATCHERS 🔋
| HIGH SCHOOL | POSITION | ||
| 25 | Bentley Taggart | American Fork | C/1B |
Click to view Taggart's VideoRoah has made one of the biggest jumps in the past 12 months, earning him an opportunity to play his future collegiate baseball for Air Force Academy. The physical, imposing left-hander features a firm FB in the mid 80s with tons of spin and a feel for his secondary pitches. Spring 2026 stands to be a monster season for the Thunder Junior.
| 28 | Cohen Plewe | Skyridge | C/3B |
Click to view Plewe's VideoCohen really impressed this Summer at our Top Prospects Games where he displayed above average physicality and tools for his Class, and position. Quick exchanges with strong accurate throws topping at 80 mph, Cohen really popped defensively with the catch and throw portion of the workout. At 6’ 190 lbs, he looks the part of a next level Catching prospect and drove balls around the yard during BP as well. Wide base with a short path to the ball and ability to backspin LD’s through the gap. Overall, an impressive Summer for Cohen and I anticipate a big year for the Falcon Junior Catcher.

| 33 | Brody Buck | Mountain Ridge | C |
Click to view Buck's VideoSam has recently moved from ID to Saint George, UT, this Fall and will attend Crimson Cliffs HS. Sam is a strong athlete with high upside and a projectable skill-set. At 5’11 170 lbs with room for added growth, the frame and athleticism are very intriguing and were too much to ignore for reigning WAC Champions, Utah Valley. The future Wolverine continues to improve and joins a loaded Crimson squad that he should step into and play a crucial role for.
| 35 | Abe Wilson | Skyline | C/INF |
Click to view Wilson' VideoOne of the biggest jumps up the rankings this time around is Layton newcomer, Burkon Beus. We got our first look at Burk at our Fall Top Prospects Games, where his athletic upside really shined and his workout impressed. He ended up posting the best 60 time of the event (6.65), which also ended up being the top recorded time in the state for all of 2025. Consider Burkon and Layton HS a must follow this Spring! |
| 48 | Krew Thorn | Corner Canyon | C |
Click to view Thorn's VideoJack continues to invest in the offseason and improve upon his game, which he put on display Summer -> Fall. He posted several new metric personal bests, including a loud 101.2 EV during the BP portion of the workout at our Fall Top Prospects Games last November. You can see the athletic upside and his activity online continues to give us a glimpse into this offseason work. We expect a breakout type of Spring for the Wasatch Junior.

| 49 | Isaac Swanson | Desert Hills | C/OF |
Click to view Swanson's VideoBack in June we had our CBA Summit Scout Day in Saint George, UT, and Isaac was a standout from that event. The 5’10 Junior Catcher has a great sense for timing offensively, also featuring a simple swing that stays behind the ball very well. This ability gives Isaac sneaky pop and distance even with a slighter, 145lb frame. He displayed strong catch and throw ability with quick exchanges and an above average arm that saw throws on line each time. With a build that can sustain substantial added physicality, I am eager to follow Isaac over the next two years as that process unfolds and his game continues to progress.
