2025 Most Viewed Profiles: No. 13 SS JB Upton

As we close the book on 2025 and turn our attention toward a new year, we continue our annual tradition of spotlighting the Top-25 Most Viewed Profiles from the past calendar year. Using data gathered through Google Analytics, our staff has compiled a list of the 25 prospects whose Prep Baseball profiles generated the most traffic in 2025. Many of the players featured delivered standout performances at various Prep Baseball events throughout the year, helping elevate their visibility and interest.
Beginning December 7th, we’ll count down the list from No. 25 to No. 1, with the top spot being revealed on December 31st. Continuing this year’s countdown is SS JB Upton, a 2027 Jacksonville State commit from Auburn, who lands at No. 13.

JB Upton SS / Auburn, AL / 2027Checking in at No. 13 is SS JB Upton of Auburn HS, the No. 6 prospect in Alabama’s 2027 class and one of the more consistent offensive performers in the state. The 6-0, 184-pound switch-hitter brings a high-contact approach with advanced barrel control and enjoyed a strong 2025 summer on the Prep Baseball circuit. Upton starred at the Yellowhammer State Games before earning an invite to represent Team Alabama at the 2025 Prep Baseball Future Games, where he ran a 6.79 60-yard dash and posted a top exit velocity of 99.5 mph. A steady in-game presence with athleticism on both sides of the ball, Upton capped his summer by committing to Jacksonville State in September following his standout showing at the Future Games. |
