We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews and by continuing our scheduled podcasts and releasing our preseason top-10 rankings in each AHSAA classification.
Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state.

TEAM OUTLOOK
Hamilton enters the 2026 season in a transitional year as the Aggies look to take a step forward under first-year head coach Kevin Bass after a 13-18 finish in 2025. While the results a season ago did not yield a postseason berth, the roster returns a core of experienced juniors who gained valuable varsity reps and now form the foundation of a group aiming to reshape expectations in Class 4A. With continuity across the lineup, competitive depth on the mound, and an aggressive style of play, Hamilton heads into 2026 focused on turning experience into results.
Offensively, the Aggies return several multi-year contributors who are expected to anchor the lineup. OF Mason Holloway (2027) provides athleticism and run-producing potential in the outfield while also factoring into the pitching mix. Up the middle, SS Houston Tibbs (2027) returns as a key defensive piece and offensive table-setter, joined by fellow infielders INF Tripp Summers (2027) and INF Brady Cantrell (2027), both of whom offer versatility and consistency across the diamond. Supporting pieces such as OF Coley Gilstrap (2027) and 1B Josiah Wilbanks (2027) add depth and balance to the lineup, while C Jackson Chandler (2027) brings stability behind the plate and contributes as a two-way option. The underclass group adds intrigue to Hamilton’s 2026 outlook. OF Camden Robinson (2028) projects as an impact bat with the ability to contribute immediately, while SS/RHP Trent Williams (2030) represents a high-upside young piece who adds long-term value and depth, particularly on the mound. Their continued development will be important as Hamilton looks to blend experience with emerging talent. On the mound, the Aggies return a staff built on versatility rather than specialization. Holloway (2027), RHP Eli Harris (2027), Chandler (2027), Tibbs (2027), Summers (2027), and Cantrell (2027) are all capable of logging innings, giving Hamilton flexibility throughout the week and the ability to manage workloads. That depth supports a team identity built on staying aggressive offensively while playing clean baseball defensively.
Hamilton’s strengths entering 2026 center around timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and the ability to make routine defensive plays, traits that align with the mindset Coach Bass is instilling early in his tenure. “Hamilton High School baseball is on the rise. We aren't just preparing to compete; we are preparing to dominate. With elite depth and discipline, our expectation is nothing less than a championship. Our talent is undeniable, but it is our daily work ethic that truly sets us apart. We are ready to prove exactly why we are the 4A team to beat,” said Bass. With a junior-heavy core, competitive depth, and a new voice leading the program, Hamilton enters the 2026 season looking to establish momentum and lay the groundwork for sustained success in Class 4A.
