TEAM OUTLOOK
The Creekview Mustangs, led by the school’s all-time wins leader in Head Coach Blake Koch, enter the 2026 season looking to build on a 15-14 record from the previous year. Competing in the state’s 5A class, the team identifies pitching and defense as its strengths entering the spring. While the Mustangs lost key contributors like 1st Team All-District pitcher Jake Moreno, utility player Cameron Landberg, and infielder Michael Ledesma to the college ranks, the program maintains a strong foundation with five returning position players and two returning starting pitchers.
The 2026 roster is anchored by several notable returning players, including LHP/OF Ben Miller, a 2nd Team All-District selection who is recognized as a top uncommitted prospect with a solid all-fields approach at the plate. Other key returners expected to make an impact include 2nd Team All-District infielder Jorky Rondon and 2nd Team All-District pitcher Mark Rojas, alongside Ryan Silva, Landen Foster, and Sam Perez.
Looking ahead, Creekview will integrate a deep group of newcomers and young talent to help bolster the lineup. Players like Alec Duran, Alex Harding, and Julian Reyna are among the top newcomers ready to contribute. With a mix of seasoned upperclassmen and a promising freshman class, the Mustangs are positioned to remain competitive as they work toward earning a playoff berth this spring.
COACH’S QUOTE
“This team is one of the hardest working, most connected teams that I have had the privilege to coach at Creekview. We have great leadership and no one seems to have a big ego. They all just want to win.”
- Blake Koch, Creekview Head Coach
