As we look back on the 2025 summer tournament circuit here in Kansas City, we’ll be breaking down the top players by tool from each class — based on evaluations from our scouting team at Homefield and Creekside. Follow along as we take a deep dive into these players and highlight the summers they put together. Each week will feature our top five players based on each tool from the class, presented in no particular order.

Top Hit Tool Class of 2028

One of the top runners in his class, Biernacki also shows some of the best bat-to-ball skills we saw in the 2028 class. This summer, he slashed .464/.520/1.396 with 11 doubles, seven triples, and five home runs, leading the Indiana Bulls Black 2028 team in each category. He stands out in the batter’s box as a highly athletic yet still-developing hitter with strong instincts and a knack for squaring up the baseball. Biernacki is a name everyone should keep an eye on over the next couple of years.
