2026 OUTLOOK
+ Marshall Academy enters the 2026 season looking to build on a strong 26–12 season that carried the Patriots to a Final Four appearance in MAIS-3A. Under head coach Dustin Skelton, the program returns a young but proven core, positioning Marshall Academy to remain a contender in District 1.
The lineup brings back several key contributors, led by Gage Todd (2027), a versatile infielder who returns after logging time at shortstop and third base while also serving as a key arm on the mound. Catcher Charlie Cross (2028) provides stability behind the plate and continues to develop as both a defender and offensive piece, while first baseman Kyler Todd (2028) adds size and presence in the middle of the order. Outfielder Cohen Lundine (2028) rounds out the returning position group, bringing athleticism and range to the outfield.
On the mound, Todd headlines the pitching staff as a reliable right-hander, joined by Cash Redding (2028), who adds another young arm capable of handling meaningful innings. That duo gives the Patriots a solid foundation on the pitching side as they navigate the spring.
With multiple returning starters, a Final Four pedigree, and a young core continuing to gain experience, Marshall Academy looks well-positioned to stay competitive in MAIS-3A District 1 and make another postseason push in 2026.
