December 20, 2025
As we are nearing the end of another calendar year, we have compiled a list of the top 25 most viewed Indiana player profiles this year. According to our research through our google analytics, these are the most viewed profiles by you the reader in 2025.
Coming in at No. 17 is '26 RHP Beckett Doane (Noblesville HS). The 6-foot-6, 220 pound lefty is the top left-hander in Indiana's 2026 class, ranked No. 9 in the state and No. 194 in the country. Doane showed well at the Preseason All-State in March and our staff saw him a handful of times in the spring and throughout the year. The southpaw punched 68 batters in 38 innings as a junior, collecting 4 wins and an ERA of 2.01. Doane is ranked as the No. 19 Prep Left-hander by our Prep Baseball Draft HQ staff. The Noblesville product committed to Mississippi State after a standout showing at the Future Games in July 2024.

Scouting Report
The No. 1 lefty in the class, Mississippi State recruit Beckett Doane, showed off velocity gains with a more physical-looking frame. Doane pitched at 90-92 with devastating arm-side run & some carry at times, as well. The 6-foot-6, 220 pound premier frame likely has even more room to hold strength to make future mid-90s projections quite safe. The changeup is the best secondary at the moment working 82-84 with sink & sold with fastball arm speed. The slider worked at 82-84 with rolling action & is still a work in progress, the heater is the best pitch by far & likely the best in-game fastball in the class right now considering the velocity, movement, and abv avg feel that he has for it.
Doane has added noticeable strength to his frame since competing at the Future Games as an underclassman in 2023. Now standing at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds - Doane showed a major tick in velocity that was ahead of schedule, now showing a fastball at 88-90 mph. Doane shows control of five distinct pitches, adding a sinker over the offseason that worked at 87-88 mph with nearly 15" of arm-side break. I like Doane's splitter as his best offspeed offering at the moment, as the 6'5" southpaw is able to kill spin on the 77-78 mph pitch, and it shows arm-side fade. Doane has firmed up his slider, now throwing it 79-83 mph, and also spinning a 75-78 mph curveball to provide multiple looks with spin. Beckett moves down the slope with a controlled aggression, and his full arm swing works to a deceptive, low 3/4 slot. The ability to control a variety of pitches, paired with an up-tick in velocity and a frame that projects, made Doane one of the biggest winners of the weekend.
