Keener is currently ranked as the #2 catcher in Nevada’s 2026 class and remains one of the top uncommitted prospects on board. We saw the left-handed hitting catcher/outfielder at the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games, where he ran a 6.85-second 60-yard dash and showcased a barrel-filled BP round. He recorded a max exit velocity of 96.4 mph, with an average of 85.8 mph, and posted a strong 60% hard-hit rate (95+ mph), highlighting his ability to generate quality contact consistently. With nearly more than seven months since these metrics were tested, Dane will surely be a player to watch for Palo Verde this spring.
