Grant Westphal OF / Blue Valley, KS / 2027

Leading off the 2027 class is the current No. 4 ranked player in the country and Texas Longhorns commit, Grant Westphal. We had the privilege of watching Westphal numerous times this season with Building Champions, and there aren’t many players as polished as he is.
The Prep Baseball All-American Game Top Athlete Award winner stands out in many ways, but most notably for his presence in the batter’s box. He’s a walking quality at-bat who makes excellent swing decisions, stays aggressive, and isn’t afraid to take his walks. Westphal also dominates plus arms which set him apart from some of the best players around which is why we think so highly of him and his future.
