2025 Most Viewed Profiles: No. 10 SS/RHP Hudson Mitchell

As we close the book on 2025 and turn our attention toward a new year, we continue our annual tradition of spotlighting the Top-25 Most Viewed Profiles from the past calendar year. Using data gathered through Google Analytics, our staff has compiled a list of the 25 prospects whose Prep Baseball profiles generated the most traffic in 2025. Many of the players featured delivered standout performances at various Prep Baseball events throughout the year, helping elevate their visibility and interest.
Beginning December 7th, we’ll count down the list from No. 25 to No. 1, with the top spot being revealed on December 31st. Continuing this year’s countdown is SS/RHP Hudson Mitchell, a top-10 prospect in the 2028 class in Alabama commit from Hewitt-Trussville, who lands at No. 10.

Hudson Mitchell SS / RHP / Hewitt-Trussville, AL / 2028Coming in at No. 10 is SS/RHP Hudson Mitchell of Hewitt-Trussville, the No. 5 prospect in Alabama’s 2028 class and one of the state’s most intriguing two-way talents. Mitchell made an immediate impact as a freshman for one of Alabama’s top programs, posting an ERA just north of 1.00 while striking out 67 hitters in Class 7A competition. A smooth, athletic switch-hitter with upside at the plate, he also continues to trend up on the mound, where he’s been up to 87 mph with advanced pitchability for his age. His all-around tools were on display at the 2025 Southeast Super Sophomore Games, where he recorded a 6.99 60-yard dash, 86 mph infield velocity, and a 95.8 mph max exit velocity, solidifying his status as a high-ceiling two-way prospect to follow closely moving forward. |
